Board of Directors

Guiding Antelope Valley Country Club with financial prudence, architectural stewardship, and an unwavering commitment to our membership and community since 1953.

Governance & Mission

The Antelope Valley Country Club Board of Directors consists of elected members dedicated to preserving the club's prestigious William P. Bell golf legacy, maintaining fiscal sustainability, and continually enhancing the member and guest experience.

Operating under transparent bylaws and committee structures, the Board meets monthly to deliberate on club operations, capital improvements, agronomy programs, and community outreach.

Operational Standing Committees

Greens & Grounds Committee

Oversees course agronomy, turf health, environmental stewardship, tree preservation, and water conservation in partnership with our Head Golf Course Superintendent.

Golf & Tournament Committee

Liaises with the MGA, WGA, SCGA, and Pro Shop to ensure tournament fairness, local rules enforcement, pace-of-play standards, and handicap integrity.

House & Social Committee

Guides culinary programs at The Grill, banquet catering, member social galas, holiday parties, and clubhouse facility enhancements.

Tennis, Pickleball & Pool Committee

Coordinates with Director Captain Kirk Shoemaker on court maintenance, lighting, weekly drop-in mixers, junior summer camps, and aquatics.

Finance & Long-Range Planning Committee

Manages fiscal budgeting, capital reserve replenishment, and long-term asset improvements to ensure zero-assessment stability for members.

Member Input & Communications

Members in good standing are welcome to submit suggestions, proposals, and feedback to the Board. Regular monthly board meetings include an open member forum at the beginning of each session.
