About the AVCC MGA
The Antelope Valley Country Club Men’s Golf Association (MGA) is an active, competitive, and social community of golfers of all skill levels. Sanctioned by the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA), the MGA administers official USGA handicaps, hosts flighted monthly tournaments, coordinates Saturday skins matches, and organizes premier member-guest invitationals.

MGA Membership Privileges
- Official SCGA Handicap Index: Active GHIN number with bi-monthly handicap revisions and mobile score posting.
- Tournament Eligibility: Access to all MGA monthly majors, sweeps, scrambles, and away-game matches with regional clubs.
- Saturday Morning Skins Game: Weekly gross & net skins pool organized every Saturday morning at 7:30 AM.
- Hole-in-One Insurance Pool: Financial protection and clubhouse celebration fund for verified aces on any course par 3.
- Voice in Course Maintenance: Direct committee representation with the AVCC Greens Committee and Head Superintendent.
MGA Governance & Monthly Meeting Minutes
The MGA Board meets monthly to review tournament finances, course condition reports, rules disputes, and upcoming schedules. Meeting minutes and official association bylaws are available in the golf shop and member portal.
